Volvo Korea Unveils Expanded Ilsan Service Center: A New Era of Premium Customer Service

Volvo Korea has expanded its Ilsan Service Center to strengthen its differentiated customer service touchpoints and has newly opened its doors.

The Volvo Ilsan Service Center, operated by official dealer Aju Autoorium, first opened in December 2015. In response to the increasing customer demand from the metropolitan area, the decision was made to expand and relocate the service center to provide quicker and more professional premium services.

The newly relocated Volvo Ilsan Service Center features a total area of 1,459.83㎡ (441 pyeong) and is built over three floors, offering customer parking for up to 18 vehicles. Equipped with 10 work bays (6 on the ground floor and 4 on the second floor), the center can handle repairs for up to 50 vehicles a day. The second floor includes a customer lounge decorated in a Nordic style, allowing customers to comfortably wait while their vehicles are being serviced. On the rooftop, a solar power generation facility has been established, embodying sustainability values.

To celebrate the grand opening of the expanded Ilsan Service Center, Volvo Korea is running promotional events. Customers can enjoy free inspections on five essential items: oil, brake fluid, battery, tires, and oil leaks. Moreover, until April 19, customers visiting the center will receive a complimentary ‘Volvo Umbrella’.

Additionally, customers with repair costs exceeding 400,000 won will receive a ‘Volvo Folding Box’, and those who replace tires with Pirelli, Continental, or Michelin will receive a ‘Volvo Camping Wagon’. Customers who upload a post on social media after visiting the Ilsan Service Center will be gifted a ‘Volvo Short Tumbler’. (Offer valid while supplies last.)

Song Kyung-ran, Executive Director of Customer Service at Volvo Korea, stated, “We decided to expand and relocate the Volvo Ilsan Service Center to provide a more relaxed and premium service to our domestic customers. We will continue to invest in our service network and differentiated customer care to ensure we can be recognized as the ‘No. 1 brand in service satisfaction’ in 2023.”

Meanwhile, the official dealer Aju Autoorium is currently running a test drive event for the XC40 across its showrooms in Goyang, Mokdong, Ilsan, Anyang, and Bucheon.

Prizes include a Bowers & Wilkins Bluetooth speaker, an Apple Watch, and a Dyson hair dryer, as well as the Volvo XC40. To participate in the event, simply complete a test drive and register by September 30, 2023, to automatically qualify.
