After much anticipation, Hyundai Motor’s latest creation has finally been revealed. It’s the new Sonata. Despite facing rumors of discontinuation due to the success of the Grandeur, it has emerged with a refined design.

Based on Hyundai’s design philosophy of Sensuous Sportiness, the Sonata boasts a sophisticated and dynamic design. The horizontal lamps integrated into the daytime running lights at the front enhance its futuristic aesthetic, complementing the H lights at the rear. The side profile, with its low starting front end and long hood that leads to a fastback-inspired roofline, emphasizes the sporty image.

The convenience features have also been significantly improved. It now comes standard with a wireless software update feature, making strides in evolving vehicles that focus more on software. Additionally, Hyundai’s digital payment system, an active air purification system, and a rear passenger alert system have been greatly enhanced to maximize customer satisfaction.

The Sonata D Edge broadens customer choices. It is available in five trims: gasoline 2.5 turbo, gasoline 1.6 turbo, gasoline 2.0, gasoline 2.0 hybrid, and LPG 2.0.

The Sonata D Edge will be available for pre-order starting from the 20th of next month.
