Transforming Mobility: A Strategic Partnership for the Future of Aviation and Automotive Industries

The “2023 Seoul Mobility Show,” opening on March 31, will feature future mobility technologies related to aviation.

On the 8th, the Korea Automotive Industry Association held a collaborative partnership ceremony with the Aerospace Industry-Convergence Institute for the advancement of the future mobility industry at the Automobile Hall.

The ceremony was attended by Chairman Kang Nam-hoon, Director Yoo Chang-kyung, along with executives and staff from both institutions.

This agreement reflects the recent trend where the mobility industry is expanding and converging beyond spatial boundaries in land, sea, and air.

This partnership aims to expand the category of mobility based on the expertise and network held by both institutions and to promote industrial growth while providing mutual support for the exhibitions hosted by both parties.

Initially, they agreed to maintain a continuous cooperative relationship that encompasses the overall future mobility industry, including technology development and the cultivation of excellent personnel through academia-industry linked programs.

Furthermore, the two institutions agreed to actively support key areas such as attracting participating companies for the exhibitions they host, organizing presentations, and operating joint pavilions.

A representative from the organizing committee stated, “We signed this agreement to expand the scope towards future mobility, including autonomous vehicles and UAM, and to identify and nurture excellent companies and technologies. We hope this agreement lays the foundation for the development of the future mobility industry.”
