Unveiling the Future: BMW’s New XM Pre-Order Begins Soon!

BMW Korea will begin pre-orders for the ‘New XM’, an ultra-high-performance SAV model exclusively for M, through its ‘BMW Shop Online’ starting from 3 PM on the 21st.

The BMW New XM is the first M-exclusive model introduced since the legendary sports coupe M1 was launched by BMW M in 1978. It is also the first electrified model in the M high-performance lineup. With a striking design that highlights BMW M’s unique aesthetics combined with the progressive look of BMW’s luxury class, it offers an overwhelming exterior, a newly developed M hybrid drive system, and a futuristic, luxurious interior that reinterprets the concept of ultra-high-performance SAV, providing an unmatched feeling exclusive to M.

The M hybrid drive system of the New XM combines an M TwinPower Turbo V8 gasoline engine with an electric motor, delivering a total system output of 653 horsepower and a maximum torque of 81.6 kg·m. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.3 seconds. Additionally, equipped with a 29.5 kWh high-voltage battery, it can travel approximately 80 km on pure electric mode on a single charge (according to WLTP).

The exterior boasts modern SAV proportions with powerful contours, a dynamic silhouette, M-exclusive design features, and distinctive accents that create a special atmosphere. The front seats, designed with a driver-centric approach, include the BMW Curved Display and BMW Head-Up Display based on BMW OS 8, while the rear seats offer spaciousness, high-quality materials, and a luxurious M-exclusive lounge.

The New XM comes equipped with various premium convenience features. The Integral Active Steering with rear-wheel steering function is standard, enhancing agility during driving, while the BMW IconicSound Electric, co-developed with movie score composer Hans Zimmer, adds exhilarating sounds unique to electric vehicles.

Additionally, the Bowers & Wilkins Diamond Surround Sound System and 4-zone air conditioning are included as standard features. The estimated price for the BMW New XM ranges from 220 million won to 230 million won, and it is expected to officially launch in Korea in March.

The pre-order for the New XM will be conducted through BMW Korea’s online sales channel, BMW Shop Online (https://shop.bmw.co.kr/). For more details, inquiries can be made at the BMW Communication Center (080-700-8000).
