Discover the Versatile QM6 QUEST: The New SUV That Adapts to Your Lifestyle

Renault Korea Automotive conducted a survey of customers who pre-ordered the versatile new SUV ‘QM6 QUEST.’ The results revealed that the majority of customers chose the vehicle by considering both weekend leisure/daily use and weekday business purposes.

The newly named QM6 QUEST, based on the established QM6 which has positioned itself as the leading LPG mid-sized SUV in Korea, is a model introduced by Renault Korea Automotive to meet the lifestyle needs of customers. With limited information available, a mere two weeks into its pre-order phase started earlier this month, the QM6 QUEST has already garnered significant interest, with reservations for a quantity sufficient to cover deliveries for two months post-March launch.

A major characteristic of the QM6 QUEST is its spacious layout that differentiates it from existing passenger models, allowing it to serve not just business needs but also as a versatile vehicle for leisure and daily purposes.

The survey results of pre-order customers indicate that 76% of respondents selected the QM6 QUEST because they plan to use it for business during the week and for leisure/daily activities on weekends. Specific examples of weekend use include activities requiring large equipment, such as bicycle riding, surfing, snowboarding, camping, as well as transporting large pets and carrying oversized instruments like full-sized cellos or drum sets for daily life.

The QM6 QUEST inherits the comfortable ride and stable driving performance of the QM6 LPe. It employs a third-generation LPI engine that provides a smooth and quiet driving experience, while the mounting system supporting the LPG donut tank ensures high durability and safety, along with excellent vibration and noise suppression capabilities.

Another feature is its exterior design, which is not significantly different from the QM6, and the majority of safety and convenience features can be utilized. The interior space includes a partition behind the driver and front passenger seats for secure storage options. With dimensions of 1,423-1,760mm in length, 1,261-1,321mm in width, and 723-859mm in height, it offers a flexible 1,413L area for various uses or loading items.

Purchasers of the QM6 QUEST can also receive government subsidies. According to the Ministry of Environment’s new car purchase support program for LPG trucks, customers who scrap their diesel vehicles and purchase the QM6 QUEST will receive a subsidy of 1 million won. Moreover, if they scrap a diesel vehicle rated at 4 to 5 for exhaust emissions, they can receive an additional subsidy of up to 8 million won (based on the 4th rating).

Various tax benefits are also available. Buyers of the QM6 QUEST are exempt from individual consumption tax and education tax, and lower tax rates based on cargo vehicles apply during registration and annual car tax payments. The total tax benefit amounts to approximately 5 million won over five years compared to standard models.
