Unveiling the All-New Hyundai Elantra: A Dynamic Redesign

The global bestseller from Hyundai, the Elantra, has returned with a more dynamic and evolved look.

On the 27th (Monday), Hyundai Motors unveiled the design of the ‘All-New Elantra’ (hereafter Elantra) for the first time.

The Elantra is a facelift model introduced three years after its launch in April 2020, characterized by an emphasis on its powerful presence while elevating the overall design quality.

Hyundai has further emphasized the ‘Parametric Dynamics’ theme integrated into the existing model while expanding horizontal graphic elements to create a lower and wider proportion.

The front headlamps are designed to be sharper and more three-dimensional, transforming the overall impression to be more dynamic. The radiator grille is neatly organized vertically around the center chrome garnish, giving the vehicle a more expansive look.

The side profile features a delta cover with a pronounced triangular pattern and newly designed alloy wheels, enhancing its luxurious appearance.

The rear bumper adopts a two-tone graphic with a sturdy yet sleek design, creating a clearer and more defined impression, complemented by a wing-type silver garnish that emphasizes a sporty character and stable stance.

Additionally, the interior features a new sage green color using bio-friendly materials, providing a fresh image while resonating with eco-conscious customers.

Hyundai aims to position the Elantra, now with a more robust impression, as the leading model in the compact sedan segment by bolstering its competitive product quality.

A Hyundai official stated, “The All-New Elantra focuses on accentuating the dynamic image and intense presence of the existing model while actively considering customer preferences. It will firmly maintain its position as the leading player in the compact sedan market, loved by a diverse age range of customers.”

Meanwhile, Hyundai’s global best-selling Elantra has consistently garnered customer loyalty based on its excellent product quality and price competitiveness.

It was awarded ‘North American Car of the Year 2021’ last year and received the Top Safety Pick rating from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) for its outstanding crash safety and prevention performance. (+ Reflected results from the Canadian Car of the Year award)
