Max Dayeol Elected as the 11th President of the Korea Automobile Journalists Association

The Korea Automobile Journalists Association announced that Max Dayeol, a journalist from Asia Economy, has been elected as the 11th president.

The association received registrations for presidential candidacy from the 15th to the 22nd, with Max Dayeol being the sole candidate, and he was elected during the extraordinary general meeting held in Jongno, Seoul, on the 28th. His term will last three years starting from March 1.

Newly elected President Dayeol started his journalism career at Asia Economy in 2008, covering various sectors including construction and real estate, fourth industrial revolution, politics, and industry. Currently, he is responsible for automotive coverage in the Industrial IT department. President Dayeol expressed his gratitude, stating, “I sincerely thank all the members who have given me their unwavering support and encouragement despite my many shortcomings,” and added, “I will go beyond merely emphasizing our ideals and establish practical measures through the association’s activities that will genuinely benefit each member.”

Meanwhile, during the extraordinary general meeting, President Dayeol appointed Lee Seung-yong, editor-in-chief of Motor Magazine, and Lee Sang-won, director of M Today, as directors of the association.
