PlugLink Launches Campaign to Address Double Parking Issues in Apartments amidst Brand Revamp

On the 9th, PlugLink initiated a campaign to alleviate double parking issues in apartments alongside its brand renewal.

Established in July 2021, PlugLink addresses the lack of electric vehicle charging infrastructure in apartment complexes and other multi-family housing by providing electric vehicle charger installations and app-based charging services.

With numerous “industry-first” achievements, PlugLink operates over 1,100 electric vehicle charging stations nationwide, including those in apartments, commercial and public facilities. Recently, it surpassed cumulative contracts for approximately 10,000 units and successfully completed a Series A funding round of 13 billion KRW, currently becoming the fastest-growing player in the electric vehicle charging infrastructure market.

Through this brand renewal, PlugLink has redefined its core value and growth direction, which goes beyond simply installing electric vehicle chargers to providing a ‘user-centered electric vehicle charging experience,’ alongside the unveiling of a new slogan and logo.

The brand slogan, ‘Changing with Charging,’ embodies the commitment to showcase electric vehicle experiences that transform daily life. It encompasses not just the act of connecting a charger but also the entire journey from the need to charge to finding a charger, waiting for the charge, and the space where charging exists, striving to provide an optimal charging experience.

The new logo has been reborn in a vibrant blue hue, enhancing the image of speed and dynamism while conveying innovation. The logo’s fluid form and motif depicting electric vehicle charging improve readability and visibility while intuitively showcasing PlugLink’s business.

A first brand campaign infused with new values is also underway. In collaboration with prominent creative advertising agency Idiot, PlugLink is developing a ‘Departure Notification Clock’ aimed at alleviating double parking issues through customer participation.

The Departure Notification Clock serves as a ‘parking etiquette item’ that allows residents to share their departure times with each other. It is easy to use: simply display your departure time using a magnet number card and place it on your vehicle. By looking up departure times for parked vehicles, residents can avoid conflicts if they know they will be departing first, even if they are double-parked.

While expanding parking spaces physically is not possible, sharing departure times through the Departure Notification Clock will enable residents to use limited parking more efficiently, thereby fostering positive perceptions that can encourage the installation and proliferation of electric vehicle charging stations within parking lots.

On the 9th, PlugLink released a campaign video on its official YouTube channel, and residents can apply for the Departure Notification Clock on the website until the 23rd, with the first batch being distributed for free.

PlugLink’s manager Mun Yu-sun stated, “PlugLink’s core competitiveness lies in being user-centric. We intend to propose and provide the electric vehicle charging experience that users truly desire through free charger installations and affordable charging fees, so please look forward to the revamped PlugLink.”
