Introducing the Next-Generation Ford Ranger: A Blend of Tradition and Modernity

Ford Korea begins pre-orders today for the Next-Generation Ranger ahead of its domestic launch. The newly designed Ranger maintains its authenticity while introducing a vibrant design, combining over 40 years of continual technological advancements to offer customers a stronger version of the beloved Ranger.

The Next-Generation Ranger has continuously improved its product capabilities, reflecting insights from driving tests conducted in various environments and harsh climates across 130 countries and five continents, along with feedback from over 5,000 customer interviews and surveys. Currently, it has positioned itself as a reliable pickup truck in regions including the U.S., Southeast Asia, Australia, and Europe.

This Next-Generation Ranger will be available in two trims: Wildtrak and Raptor, designed with Ford’s global truck design DNA, showcasing a robust yet versatile internal and external design suitable for various purposes. Both trims are equipped with a 2.0L bi-turbo diesel engine and a 10-speed automatic transmission, featuring eye-catching signature C-clamp headlights at the front.

The Wildtrak offers a fuel efficiency of 10.1 km per liter, with a peak output of 205 horsepower and a maximum torque of 51.02 kg·m, ensuring excellent driving performance. Added features including a towing capacity of 3,500 kg, clamp pockets, improved bed liners, cargo management hooks, and zone lighting enhance convenience for both commercial and outdoor recreational activities.

Inside, the cabin is finished with premium soft-touch materials, featuring a large 12-inch vertical touchscreen located in the center stack, allowing drivers to utilize and operate necessary information more intuitively and conveniently. Additionally, Ford’s signature SYNC4® system enables users to enjoy a wide range of infotainment content.

The Raptor is equipped with off-road-specific suspension, drive modes tailored for off-road conditions, and the first Ranger with matrix LED headlights, providing dynamic performance driving experiences that cater to the needs of customers looking for differentiated driving experiences.

The Next-Generation Ranger Wildtrak is set to start customer deliveries in March, while the Raptor will be delivered in the second quarter. Prices are set at 63.5 million won for the Wildtrak and 79.9 million won for the Raptor, inclusive of VAT.
