The Next Generation Ranger: Ford’s Bold Leap into the Future of Pickups

Ford Korea began pre-orders for the new Ranger on the 16th. The Next Generation Ranger was introduced with a test drive event in Thailand last year before its launch in Korea, gathering feedback from various media outlets.

The global Ford test drive event that took place last year occurred in locations where the movie ‘F9: The Fast Saga’ was filmed, showcasing the vehicle’s off-road capabilities. Ford designed the off-road track “Ford Ranger Bill” to thoroughly evaluate the performance, technology, features, and safety of the completely revamped Next Generation Ranger in various driving conditions.

This venue included a total of eight tracks consisting of hill maneuvering, water wading, slippery track, mud track, loose surface, rocky terrain, sand track, and off-road maneuvering.

Participants in the test drive all provided common feedback that the Next Generation Ranger has been upgraded in various aspects.

One participant remarked, “The overall design, off-road capability, driving comfort, convenience, and attention to detail are all satisfying. It’s better than the previous Wildtrak,” while another participant stated, “It provides stable driving, a comfortable ride like an SUV, and excellent off-road fundamentals, making it a pickup truck that excels in both off-road performance and ride comfort.”

This positive feedback aligns with the message of the test drive event, emphasizing that the Ranger is “the one truck that people around the world trust.”

Returning with a more vibrant design while maintaining its authenticity, the Next Generation Ranger aims to transcend limits, bringing forth the solid expertise Ford has gained over decades in the realm of pickup trucks and the spirit of ‘Built Ford Tough,’ thus recreating a more complete Ranger.
