Kia Sales Manager Achieves Prestigious Grand Master Title with 4,000 Sales

Kia announced on the 26th (Monday) that Park Young-geun, the sales manager at the Sinchon branch in Seoul, has achieved a cumulative sales total of 4,000 units and has been elevated to the rank of ‘Grand Master.’

The Grand Master title is an honor bestowed only upon exemplary sales staff at Kia who have recorded cumulative sales of 4,000 units. Before Park Young-geun, only 22 individuals had been named Grand Masters.

As the 23rd Grand Master, Park Young-geun joined Kia in November 1989 and has achieved an average annual sales figure of about 118 units, leading to his total of 4,000 sales.

Park Young-geun expressed, “For 33 years at Kia, I’ve approached my work with the mindset of ‘protecting customers’ safety and selling essential items that help their livelihoods.’ I’m thrilled to be recognized as a Grand Master for my efforts over the years.” Kia presented him with a trophy and a reward vehicle (K9).

Kia currently operates various reward programs for sales personnel, including the ▲ Long-term Sales Honor Award System ▲ Kia Star Awards, aimed at fostering pride among sales employees and encouraging healthy sales competition.

Honorary titles commemorating cumulative sales include ▲ ‘Star’ for 2,000 units sold ▲ ‘Master’ for 3,000 units ▲ ‘Grand Master’ for 4,000 units ▲ and ‘Great Master’ for 5,000 units. Kia rewards those achieving these milestones with cash prizes or vehicles (K9).
