Porsche Unveils the New 718 Style Edition: A Perfect Blend of Sport and Practicality

Porsche has unveiled the new 718 Style Edition. The newly introduced variants include the 718 Boxster Style Edition and the 718 Cayman Style Edition, both mid-engine sports cars that perfectly combine driving pleasure and everyday practicality.

Porsche is showcasing an exclusive model with an attractive exterior design. The 718 Style Edition adopts the Ruby Star Neo color, a modern reinterpretation of the legendary Porsche 911 Carrera RS Ruby Star from the 964 generation.

The new 718 Boxster and Cayman Style Editions are differentiated not only by the Ruby Star Neo color but also through exclusive elements. They feature 20-inch high-gloss black 718 Spyder wheels, with color Porsche crest wheel hub covers.

The Style Edition can also be identified by the black sports exhaust system tailpipes and the high-gloss silver ‘Porsche’ lettering on the rear. The 718 Boxster Style Edition has ‘Boxster’ embossed on its side windows, and exclusive labels applied to the soft top. Customers can choose between black or white 718 Edition contrast packages at no extra cost.

Both packages include stripe patterns on the front luggage compartment lid, ‘Porsche’ lettering on the sides, wheels finished in black or high-gloss white, and model names on the rear. The interior features a black leather package with contrasting chalk stitching and illuminated stainless steel door sills, along with headrests embossed with the Porsche crest.

The 718 Boxster and Cayman Style Editions come with a well-equipped standard assembly. They include bi-xenon main headlights with LED daytime running lights, front and rear park assist with a rearview camera, Apple CarPlay, cruise control, automatic dimming interior and exterior mirrors with rain sensors, a multifunction steering wheel with heated soft leather, heated seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, contrasting chalk stitching on black floor mats and leather covers, and power steering plus, all as standard equipment. Both models can be further upgraded with additional options.

The powertrain and chassis are identical across the Style Edition models. Both variants are based on the entry-level 718 Boxster and 718 Cayman outfitted with a 2.0-liter boxer engine producing 300 horsepower. The turbocharged four-cylinder engine delivers 38.7 kg·m of torque, and the Style Edition models with a standard 6-speed manual transmission can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.1 seconds (4.7 seconds with the optional 7-speed PDK). Both manual and PDK-equipped models have a top speed of 275 km/h.

The starting prices for the Porsche 718 Boxster Style Edition and 718 Cayman Style Edition are €68,510 and €66,487, respectively, including VAT and country-specific special specifications.
