Toyota and Lexus Shine in Consumer Satisfaction Survey

Toyota Motor Korea announced that in the “2022 Automotive Planning Survey” conducted by Consumer Insight, Toyota ranked first in ‘sales service satisfaction’, while Lexus achieved a joint first place in ‘A/S satisfaction’.

Consumer Insight, known for its independent and objective consumer research, has been conducting annual planning surveys on about 100,000 automotive consumers since 2001. This year, the 2022 Automotive Planning Survey was conducted in July among 95,719 nationwide vehicle owners and individuals intending to purchase a vehicle within the last two years.

In the ‘sales service satisfaction’ category, Toyota scored a total of 838 points, advancing from second place last year to first place this year, while Lexus scored 837 points, securing a close second place; both brands received scores higher than the average of 786 points among imported car brands. Thus, in terms of sales service satisfaction, Toyota has ranked first in 2015, 2019, 2020, and 2022, while Lexus has achieved this in 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2021, making a total of eight years of alternating leadership between the Toyota and Lexus brands since 2015.

Additionally, in the ‘A/S satisfaction’ category, Lexus achieved a score of 846, marking four consecutive years at the top position since 2019, while Toyota secured third place with 838 points.

Nobuyuki Takemura, President of Toyota Motor Korea, expressed gratitude to the dealership sales and service staff for their steadfast efforts, stating, “Toyota Motor Korea will continue to prioritize customer satisfaction as our foremost value and strive to ensure consistent customer satisfaction together with Toyota and Lexus dealers nationwide.”
