Volkswagen Financial Services Korea will be launching the ‘Powertrain Warranty Extension Service’ for customers utilizing the operational lease and long-term rental car products from Volkswagen Financial Services and Audi Financial Services throughout October.
The ‘Powertrain Warranty Extension Service’ offered by Volkswagen Financial Services Korea is a program that provides additional warranty services for the powertrain for one more year after the standard 5-year / 150,000 km extension warranty (excluding certain vehicles such as those under special sales conditions), or until the mileage reaches 180,000 km, whichever comes first. This program is designed to reduce the operating costs for Volkswagen and Audi customers.
If a malfunction occurs in the vehicle and is determined to result from a material or manufacturing defect, the affected part can be repaired or replaced, provided the vehicle is maintained according to the user manual and receives regular inspections and servicing at an official service center designated by Volkswagen/Audi Korea. If damage occurs to the vehicle, repairs must be conducted at an official Volkswagen/Audi Korea service center.
