Genesis Cars Shine at the 27th Busan International Film Festival

Genesis is officially sponsoring the 27th Busan International Film Festival, which runs until the 15th, and is showcasing a total of five vehicles at the Genesis Brand Zone.

As a Gold Sponsor, the highest tier of official sponsors at the Busan International Film Festival, Genesis has set up brand zones and vehicle displays in several locations at the Busan Cinema Center, particularly in the Dureraum Square and outdoor stage in Haeundae.

At the Genesis Brand Zone set up in the square, the flagship sedan G90 Long Wheelbase, selected as the Hero Car of this festival, is on display. This area, designed with the Genesis Theater concept, also features a special exhibition titled ‘In the Mood for Love’ showcasing the filmography of Tony Leung, who received the Asia Talent Award this year. Tony Leung, who has a deep connection with the Busan International Film Festival, visited Korea to present six of his selected representative works and engage with the audience.

During the opening ceremony, the G70 Shooting Brake was displayed on the red carpet, allowing attendees to take photographs as if they were the stars of the red carpet against the backdrop of the Media Tower and Genesis vehicles. This photo opportunity also includes instant printing, providing guests with a memorable experience.

At the ‘BIFF X GENESIS Outdoor Stage’, the electrified models GV70 and GV80 are on display, while the GV60 is featured at the official photo wall of the festival, making it easy for festival-goers to encounter Genesis vehicles throughout the event.

A Genesis representative stated, “As the Busan International Film Festival has returned after three years, we have organized events for many attendees to see and experience Genesis vehicles in person during the festival. We hope that Genesis can create memorable experiences for the audience alongside the film festival.”
