Daimler Truck Korea presents the ‘Mercedes-Benz Actros L Edition A 2663LS 6×2 Gigaspaces’, upgraded with enhanced advanced safety and convenience features.
The Mercedes-Benz Actros L lineup has expanded with the introduction of this top-tier model at 630 horsepower, following the 530-horsepower 2653LS 6×2 Gigaspaces, the 510-horsepower 2651LS 6×2 Streamspace, and the 460-horsepower 2646LS 6×2 Streamspace models launched in August, totaling four models.

This video showcase includes greetings from Antonio Landajo, CEO of Daimler Truck Korea, an introduction to the Mercedes-Benz Actros L, and a presentation of the Actros L Edition A by Executive Director Lee Won-jang, who oversees product planning and marketing.

Continuing, Executive Director Lee Won-jang emphasized, “The top model in the Mercedes-Benz Actros L lineup is the most advanced truck in existence. It reflects the needs of domestic customers, incorporating ‘A’ for Art and ‘A’ for Full Air Suspension, thus named ‘Mercedes-Benz Actros L Edition A’. There is nothing better than A,” underscoring pride in the product.
Daimler Truck Korea has collaborated with graffiti artist XEVA, a pioneer of urban art in Korea, to apply a specially designed art decal for the Mercedes-Benz Actros L Edition A. This addition maximizes the premium nature of the top-tier model, encapsulating cutting-edge innovative technologies.
The newly developed art decal design represents the innovative spirit of Mercedes-Benz customers, showcasing their world, new aspirations, and dynamic nature, as well as expressing pride in the Mercedes-Benz brand.
The Mercedes-Benz Actros L Edition A is equipped with a state-of-the-art air suspension system unique to Mercedes-Benz trucks across all axles, ensuring maximum ride comfort.
In addition to superior ride comfort, the full air suspension maintains vehicle stability, improves handling and braking performance, and allows adjustable vehicle height for easy access to rugged terrain, thus preventing corrosion and damage.
Safety features include the upgraded MirrorCam, which boosts efficiency and durability, the Active Drive Assist 2 which enhances the reliability of semi-autonomous driving systems, Terrain-Predicting Cruise Control+ with five levels of customization according to driver situations, and Active Brake Assist 5.
As the first in the commercial vehicle industry to adopt it, the upgraded MirrorCam has improved aerodynamics and fuel consumption with its new design and shortened arm. The MirrorCam display minimizes glare while providing clear images. Newly designed integrated full LED headlights optimize light distribution and surface illumination for enhanced safety.
The 630-horsepower Mercedes-Benz Actros L Edition A features a completely flat floor Gigaspaces cab without an engine tunnel, boasting a comfortable and spacious interior, compliant with domestic regulations at a maximum width of 2.5m. It includes a premium mattress topper for added comfort and a wide premium bunk, aiding rest or sleep during long drives, alongside a soundproofing and insulation package that significantly reduces noise, enhancing focus during driving.
The vehicle is fitted with ventilated leather seats (domestically produced) for luxurious seating comfort, aiding in pleasant and comfortable driving across all seasons. Enhanced interior soundproofing and insulation materials provide exceptional performance.
To celebrate the launch of the Mercedes-Benz Actros L Edition A, Daimler Truck Korea plans to offer merchandise (such as eco bags or picnic mats) featuring the art decal design through a mobile event with the ‘Mercedes-Benz Trucks KakaoTalk Plus Friend’. Customers participating in vehicle consultations or test drives at Daimler Truck Korea sales headquarters will also receive merchandise.
Additionally, a ‘Rose Festival’ promotion offers special benefits to customers receiving deliveries until the end of 2022, alongside a ‘Mercedes-Benz Truck Service Contract Integrated’ program providing the industry’s largest benefits for maintenance contracts, along with financing support for purchase costs and Gold membership benefits for the Mercedes-Benz service card.
