Experience the Unique: Porsche’s Sonderwunsch Personalization Service in Seoul

Sonderwunsch. In English, it’s a special request. It signifies a personalized service where one seeks to break away from mass-produced items and desires something uniquely theirs. Porsche has opened the Sonderwunsch House, a personalization service for special customers.

Porsche Korea opened the Sonderwunsch Pop-Up House in Gangnam, Seoul on the 12th. Since the mid-1950s, when the 356 model was produced, Porsche began its personal manufacturing service. With the establishment of the Sonderwunsch department in 1978, the journey of creating a personalized Porsche formally began.

Sonderwunsch is the highest level of personalization program offered by Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur. Customers can choose from over 100 exterior colors and more than 800 options. This is a chance to own a one-of-a-kind Porsche in the world.

In China, 20 limited-edition models of the 911 have already been sold through the Sonderwunsch service. Now, in Korea, there is a growing number of customers wanting to break away from uniformity and own a truly unique vehicle. One notable model is the ‘Taycan 4S Cross Turismo for Jennie,’ a collaboration with BLACKPINK’s Jennie.

The exterior of the Taycan 4S Cross Turismo for Jennie features a metallic black color. The contrast highlights the visual beauty through the Mycen blue of the Taycan Cross Turismo.

The ‘Electric’ lettering on the driver’s door and the rear model name, along with the cloud logo on the B-pillar, have been enhanced with a blue from the ‘Paint to Sample’ program. Her name, ‘Jennie Ruby Jane,’ is inscribed on the front door entry guard, and her nickname ‘Nini’ appears on the rear door, emphasizing that this Porsche is uniquely for BLACKPINK’s Jennie.

Additionally, crayon colors have been applied only to the interior seats and the top of the dashboard, while door panel trims, vent borders, and cup holders are styled in Mycen blue. The headrests are adorned with a cloud design by Jennie, and special interior covers with the same design have been created.

Alexander Fabig, Vice President of Porsche’s Personalization Services, who attended the event, emphasized, “You can own your one-of-a-kind Porsche through 850 Porsche Centers worldwide,” stating, “I hope customers can own their bespoke Porsche through the Sonderwunsch service wherever they are, whenever they wish.”
