According to Kaiziyu, 631 units of the Ioniq 6 were registered as taxis in its first month of sales. This accounts for 23% of the total sales volume of 2,652 units. The Ioniq 6 is an exclusive electric sedan that utilizes Hyundai’s dedicated electric vehicle platform, E-GMP. It garnered significant attention by recording a domestic low drag coefficient of 0.21.
The Ioniq 6 boasts a sleek, aircraft-like silhouette measuring 4,855 × 1,880 × 1,495 mm, with a wheelbase of 2,950 mm, offering more space than the Grandeur sedan, which has a wheelbase of 2,885 mm. Thanks to the promotional efforts for the Ioniq 6, the cumulative number of registered electric taxis reached 11,532 units by September this year.
