Experience the Unveiling of the All-New BMW X7 at the 2022 BMW Ladies Championship

BMW Korea will unveil the all-new X7 in Korea for the first time during the 2022 BMW Ladies Championship, the country’s only LPGA tournament, held from October 20 to 23.

Since 2019, BMW Korea has showcased new models at the BMW Ladies Championship, providing car enthusiasts with a unique experience. Last year, the BMW iX was on display for the first time in Korea during the 2021 BMW Ladies Championship, which was also offered as a prize for the first player to achieve a hole-in-one. Additionally, the tournament in 2019 featured the debut of the 8 Series, which made its comeback after 20 years.

This year, the new X7 makes its debut with a more striking exterior design, enhanced digital experience in the interior, and a variety of advanced driver assistance systems and premium convenience features as a flagship Sports Activity Vehicle (SAV) model.

With its facelift, the new X7 emphasizes grandeur and presence. For the first time, it features a split headlight design. The upper part includes horizontal LED lights that serve as daytime running lights, turn signals, and side marker lights, while the lower LED unit houses the high and low beams. Moreover, the lower LED unit is finished in a darker hue, creating an impression of seamlessly blending into the front apron, becoming visible only when the headlights are illuminated. This newly designed adaptive matrix LED headlight also includes a function that automatically activates fog lights in inclement weather.

The interior of the BMW new X7 has been revamped for a high-tech ambiance. A new digital instrument cluster and BMW curved display give the driver a modern feel, while the innovative light bar, provided as standard with ambient lighting, offers various lighting effects tailored to different situations, enhancing the luxury atmosphere. The gear selector lever has also undergone a transformation with a new high-tech design.

The BMW new X7 will be presented as a prize to the player who first achieves a hole-in-one at the 12th hole during this tournament, and it is slated for an official launch in the domestic market in the fourth quarter.

A representative from BMW Korea stated, “We decided to unveil the first showing of the BMW new X7, emphasizing grandeur and luxury to harmonize well with the prestige of the BMW Ladies Championship, the only LPGA Tour in Korea. Given that this is a global tournament focused on by golf fans worldwide, we believe the overwhelming presence of the new X7 will shine even brighter.”
