Celebrating 8 Years of Luxury: Lexus ConnectTo’s Special Events Unveiled

Lexus Korea celebrated the 8th anniversary of its multi-cultural space ‘ConnectTo’ by preparing a variety of programs from the 24th of this month to the 23rd of next month, including Lucky Box giveaways, the Creative Masters special exhibition, and test drive events.

The first event for the 8th anniversary features a Lucky Box that will run for seven days until the 30th. The Lucky Box includes random packages with works from Lexus Creative Masters, the ConnectTo Collection, Young Farmers products, and free drink coupons for ConnectTo. These will be offered to the first 20 customers who purchase drinks and upload their photos visiting ConnectTo on social media with a designated hashtag each day.

Secondly, from October 24th to November 23rd, a special exhibition titled ‘Becoming a Painting of Ink’ by artist Park Jung-geun, who was selected as a Lexus Creative Master in 2019, will take place.

This event celebrates the 8th anniversary of ConnectTo and showcases special editions made with champlevé enamel, featuring the characteristics of traditional Korean ink painting. The design incorporates the form of a vase, showcasing lines and the beauty of negative space, completing a monochromatic ink painting.

Moreover, the test drive program for the Lexus electric vehicle UX 300e and the new NX 450h+, which has been operating since August through Naver reservations, will also undergo changes in honor of ConnectTo’s 8th anniversary. Initially limited to weekends, it has now expanded to four days, running from Thursday to Sunday, listening to customer feedback. The duration of the test drives will also significantly extend to a maximum of six hours, effective November 1st, with bookings available through the Naver reservation system starting from the 24th.

Executive Director Kang Dae-hwan of Lexus Korea expressed, “It is a meaningful moment as Lexus’ multi-cultural space ConnectTo reaches its 8th anniversary, which began in 2014. We hope that through various events prepared to commemorate our 8th anniversary, customers will have a great time. In the future, ConnectTo will continue to offer various programs that convey the brand values pursued by Lexus, including hospitality, craftsmanship, and efforts toward carbon neutrality.”

Located on the first floor of Lotte World Mall in Jamsil, ‘ConnectTo’ features several human resource development programs, such as ‘Young Farmers,’ which aims to discover and support young farmers from across the nation, and ‘Creative Masters,’ which supports emerging artisans in the domestic craft sector. Additionally, ConnectTo promotes various environmental efforts, including a book donation campaign, eco-friendly campaigns commemorating World Environment Day, and the use of eco-friendly takeout containers instead of plastic, thereby championing carbon neutrality and a sustainable lifestyle.
