Mercedes-Benz’s Advanced Electric SUV Shines at WEMIX Championship

The official Mercedes-Benz dealer, The Class Hyosung, sponsored the ‘Mercedes-EQ EQA 250’ vehicle at the ‘WEMIX Championship with Wow Management Group – SBS Golf,’ which took place for three days from the 21st to the 23rd at the Alpensia Country Club in Pyeongchang, Gangwon Province.

The ‘Mercedes-EQ EQA 250’ vehicle provided as a hole-in-one prize on the 17th hole features cutting-edge digital functions and various convenience specifications as an electric compact SUV. It embodies the design philosophy of ‘progressive luxury’ of the ‘Mercedes-EQ’ brand, equipped with a 66.5 kWh lithium-ion battery that delivers a maximum output of 140 kW and a peak torque of 375 Nm. The vehicle also includes advanced driving assistance systems, a seat comfort package, and a multifunctional sports steering wheel wrapped in Nappa leather, making it popular among consumers.

The ‘WEMIX Championship with Wow Management Group – SBS Golf,’ where The Class Hyosung sponsored the hole-in-one car, was made possible by WEMADE, who served as the title sponsor, along with Wow Management Group, which includes golfers like Inbee Park, Soyoung Yoo, and Jeongeun Lee6, and SBS Medianet as the broadcasting partner supporting part of the prize money and operational expenses. A total prize pool of 1 billion won attracted 96 competitors, with Yoo Hee-joo ultimately taking home the championship trophy.

Meanwhile, The Class Hyosung is actively conducting golf marketing as the official automotive and hole-in-one partner of the KLPGA. This year, they are sponsoring KLPGA professional golfers Dayeon Lee and Jeongeun Lee6, continuing to provide robust support for domestic pro golfers.
